Wiseracing2
I'm not sure if im posting this in the right place or not, if so, please forgive me, but I have a couple questions.. I recently acquired a Focal Solid 4 amplifier from my grandpa(came out of his new car), so I wired it up with 8 gauge wire and the amp powered up, but the power light began to flicker then slowly faded away. Thinking the wire wasnt large enough since it takes 4 gauge, I wired up my rockford fosgate 4 gauge and ran into the same problem. What could be the problem? Fuses on the amp are good, ground has been sanded and bolted through the body, wire is all new(no corrosion), and the remote is run off a 12v accessory from the back of the headunit since the actual remote wire harness blew out.
