My bad, I didn't c that u still need an amp. Nywaz, anthing that puts out between 2000-2500 watts rms of CLEAN and TRUE power is what u want amp wise. I'm talking the Rockford Fosgate T2500.1-bdcp, or any sundown/dc/etc. None of those brands that claim 2000 watts rms for $150. You sould be willing to spend $300 minimum for a great amp to power that great sub. Not sure about batts and alts etc. simply because I don't have much experience working with them, hopefully someone else will chime in...

2000w?

crecendo bc2000. dc 2.0k. audioque 2200d. skar 2500. sundown 2500.

mind you, you will need some good group 31 agm batteries in the trunk/hatch area. not optima.

0 gauge everywhere. big 3, runs from the front to the back batteries.

you absolutely MUST monitor voltage with a voltage gauge attached to the amp or a rear battery. not a stock one next to the speedo.

I was thinking about getting a crescendo 2k , a khc 2400 in the back. 0 gauge runs , and volt regulator .and the big 3. I don't even hve my headunit in yet.. And did a 142 off a 15 pushing a hifonics Brutus 1200.d. But with this 18 I'm hoping to get close of not 150 off music .

i don't really see you getting a 150 from 2k and an 18. unless you tune super high, but then the box would be useless for music.

you dont need a voltage regulator. you need a voltage meter. big difference.

i'd get an agm battery for under the hood as well. matching agm with agm is the ideal thing to do.

it will do somewhere between 120 and 180db. absolutely impossible to tell you, even a ball park, of how loud it will be. its just not possible. a 145db system in one car can instantly become 140db in a different car.

That is very true. I mean I have an open suv. A jeep. Im hoping for close to 150 . If not I'm going to get another 18 and build everything up. What do you think my box specs should be
