dcm4588 Posted October 26, 2012 Report Share Posted October 26, 2012 I have a competition next weekend (Nov. 4, 2012) and I cannot seem to figure my box correctly. I'm in the truck class, 0-1501 watts, stock electrical, 1 extra battery allowed. I'm Running a single 12" XL m1, PSI carbon fiber recone, dual 1.4ohm sub dropped to .7 ohms. The amp is a Planet Audio P1250d (when they were still made in the US). I'm putting right at 14.4 volts to the amp. Even at idle, It NEVER drops below 12.6 volts. Should be putting around 1200 real watts to the speaker. Either way, I've built too many boxes to continue just trying everyone's designs. Any help here for a basic design. I know these speakers like smaller boxes, but I'm sure someone here has more experience with them than I do. Thanks in advance guys!
