Im thinking of running my Rockford T1 tweeters(75rms) off a Rockford punch 300.2 which is 75rms at 2 channels.. rather then passive off my Focal Solid 4 (75x4 RMS) which runs my fronts/tweeters and rear coaxials.. would this help any? i get a little distortion from the tweeters at higher volumes.. could this help sort this out? im also planning on getting a 6 channel line driver that has front, rear, sub inputs and front high, front low, rear, and sub outputs which would allow me to run a 9 volt signal to all the amps.. would this help with the distortion as well?

Running active will allow your tweeters to receive more power. They won't take all of the power you are trying to give them with that punch amp though.

Upside would be your tweeters might be a little louder.

Downside would be your tweeters will be easier to blow. Especially if there's any distortion within the system, whether it be created by the source unit, or induced through the amplifier.
