I have a reg cab silverado new body style. I'm trying to determine the best route for my application. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in. The space is very limited behind the seat. I have 3 tens laying in my garage 2 rf's and a clarion I have the clarion in a sealed but it's not nearly as loud as I would like.

I plan to run infinity kappas and coaxials on an amp so the more bass the better.

Options

1 ten ported or t line

2 tens sealed

A shallow mount 12

I see people making the 8 inch subs do awesome so that really strikes my interest I am willing to utilize the area as a box but not sure where to begin as I have no box building software.

Please. Chime in with any thoughts I would like this to get loud when I want it to

Sorry I'm on my phone and must have double posted

Yeah use Torres to design the box.

Sa8s don't like to be sealed but run .5-.75 cubes per sub ported.

My box is 1.5 cubes with 40sq/in of port tune to 31 and it plays from 27hz to 50 something loud and clear.

Running an alpine mrp2000 so they're gladly taking over 1000 each before rise

If you wanna pm me ur email I'll send u a video as they're my girlfriends subs I bought for her.

Does this sub need space behind the magnet or can it be put in a tight area I'm wondering if I have the depth I need

I don't believe so but don't quote me on that. To give you an idea the box I built for her is in the hatch of a scion xd and there's still room for stuff an the back seats are still up.

ugh....torres is a user on here who made a box building program. its in the enclosure section of the forum, near the top of the page.

read the readme file and browse through the thread for help. it can get confusing fast.
