RE Audio VLS-1, Cadence CEQ-773, and NVX XEQ7, cache cloc'd

Recommended Posts

Saw these on diyma's black friday email and figured I would at least ask about them.

First up, and probably the only thing I actually NEED, is the RE audio VLS-1 bass processor.

I have never used an audio processor but from what I read, this things cleans up the bass, and also increases the bass in low-bass songs?

second/third are graphic 7 band EQ's.

Now I am ok with using the 3 band parametric from the head unit, but I would much rather be using this if it has more control (only IF it does).

One has a line driver which is supposed to clean up/boost the RCA output voltage before the amps?

I have a broken sony xec-500 but it doesn't have all these options...

And last but not least, a cache cloc'd line output converter and line driver. Now I am not at all familiar with these terms but from what I read, a line driver boosts the RCA voltage for a cleaner signal to the amps? If so, and even if not, would this thing be any use to me with a kenwood dnx-6160? It seems most people get this for the speaker to RCA adapter (with stock head units) but the line driver seems to be of a whole nother category...

I originally got this for real cheap with a few other items and have been trying to sell it on CL, but it looks like it might actually come in handy...

As always, any comments/suggestions/feedback are more then welcomed, negative or positive.
