s10 loose center link/Pitman arm

My 93 s10 has about 3 inches of play in the steering. Everything is good and tight until the pitman arm meets the center link. My question is which part do i need to replace? I have read that pitman arms never wear out and its the center link thats worn? Im just trying to figure this out to get my truck back on the road. Thanks

you're gonna have to start removing and inspecting each part bro, thats the only way really. A shop will do the same but charge you to do it. gl
