1996BLKBauer Posted December 6, 2012 Report Share Posted December 6, 2012 OK so I have a pair of JBL subs I got for real cheap from a friend, because he is upgrading. They are dual voice coil, and each voice coil is a 4ohm coil. My amp is rated at 2ohms stable, so is there anyway to wire the subs up to be at 2 ohms? I honestly cannot think of a way. The reason I want to do this is I want to build a box for them, and test stuff out before I go on to bigger, and better speakers, and box building.
