2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Build

Recommended Posts

Looks good, have u done the big 3? Hopefully u've a bit more juice to crank out from that alternator...

Another thing is , I like u kept the build pretty consistent budget wise. Next upgrade would probably be a better front end system..?

I have all of the cable for big three, I'm waiting for a full saturday to get it done. so i guess 2 weeks haha.

Prepped everything to run through the engine bay

New fuse box and NVX 1/0awg ran through the engine bay finally

through the firewall

inside firewall

And this is how she lies for now. I'm trying to decide if I should pull the old run of 1/0awg out or just keep both in and order some new post adapters. I do want to upgrade down the line already haha so it might be worth it?

Got some new terminals for my pre-fab enclosure in, came with a couple goodies.

Re-did the subwoofer connections with actual ring terminals instead of the old spade connectors that the terminal cup needed. The whole thing feels WAY sturdier and less restrictive.

New vs old, the old one was actually starting to melt!
