Pauly1987 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Hi guys Wondering if my volt meter is on point as its plugged into cigeret lighter, would I be better off stripping the wires from that volt meter and putting them directly to the amp to see how many volt amp is getting as supposed to seeing what the cigeret lighter is getting? Basically wanting to be as accurate as possible!

Carbon Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 It will work just fine, Its just not the best / most accurate reading. The current has to travel through more wires and fuses to reach the cig lighter.
