shackleford
QUESTION you obviously compete and all and id assume youd want accurate results. should this, being a trunk car, be done with the lid shut? i think that would probably affect your rise somewhat.... idk how youd be able to record the video in your trunk but wouldnt you want to test your rise in YOUR competition conditions(whether it be sealed up or a door open). i dont compete i daily and i want to meter at the headrest with the windows down, couple weeks i will. and id like to clamp it to see what my rise is like. my car is a hatch and the back seats stay folded down so this would be easy. I compete for fun, my car is tuned for daily listening, I drive my car everywhere for my work, I did it with the trunk lid shut, but the back passenger side door was open for the sake of filming the clamps, During the clamp testing, I was doing anything and everything i know to do when I go to a comp. My seats were folded down, also. I am trying to get into more of the competition side, while holding a dialy tune, this clamp test gave me so much data to know what i truly need to do next. It was very beneficial to my future plans
vetkilr01
Shocker sig 15" with custom soft parts. Has d1.4 coils wired down to .7. I had it in a 4.5 cube box with a single 10" aero tuned at 42hz(peak of my truck). Did a 147.7. I was very impressed with the clamp test. I don't remember the exact voltage drop I had but started at 14.4 and pretty sure I dropped down to 12.5-12.7. I'm happy with my crescendo. I love my bc3500 as well. I just hooked up my other one, I got yesterday. Strapped is where it is at! Poor lil level4's...
