kaydennicholson Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Is the 12 gauge THHN wire from Home Depot the same as regular 12 ga speaker wire, but with a different sheathing or something? Going to wire a set of subs today and only have a ton of 16 gauge, up to 1200 watts going per woofer. Or would running two 8gauges, instead of a 12 be okay? Isn't that called "shotgunning"
