basscherokee Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 ive been having this problem where my bass will go out and when i turn the volume up it comes back on. sounded to me like an amp problem but this amp in brand new so im thinking its not it at the moment. my reasoning is when the bass is playing and i pull my radio out or hit a bump the bass cuts out and when i hit it (more of a harder tap) it sometimes comes back on. is there any way to test the current of the subwoofer rca output on the headunit with a multimeter (taking scrap rcas apart and connecting testing wires)? never mind haha didnt see the sticky on this same question! 2001 vw gti 2 hds212s 4.75 net tuned to 34hz audioque1200 wired to 1 ohm nvx 0 gauge to the back kinetic khc 2000 kenwood deck
