Nates_Veloster
I am just wondering if anyone else has bumped into this issue that I seem to be finding. Trying to find an alternator upgrade for my 2012 Hyundai Veloster. The issue is no one makes one for my car and when calling some local shops who have done alternators for upgraded sound, is that they all say the computers wig out the car when there is an excess amperage or drop in voltage from the alternator. Has anyone else had this issue? I am hearing the only solution is to run dual alternators with the second alternator just for the sound and the first for just the car. I am going to be running one upgraded battery under the hood and two secondary smaller batteries in the back, but I am still trying to avoid burning up this factory alternator (90 amp).
