Lyferxb9s Posted May 25, 2013 Author Report Posted May 25, 2013 I ordered my alt on the 23rd. I asked for a military discount, he had me Email him from my DOD email and he said he would take care of me, thanks for my services yadayadayada. That was the 23rd. My alt and regulator showed up today!
Lyferxb9s Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Got my alternator in today took about 2 hours and ended up costing me a little extra since the factory bracket did not fit the alternator.

I believe they (Mechman) use the same alt casing as whats on the 93-98 Grand Cherokees so you had to grind your bracket slightly to fit the larger casing. Lyferxb9s Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Still need to clean up the wiring but I used to charge at 13.9 and drop to 10.8 full tilt. Now I'm charging at 15 and dropping to 14.94 full tilt at idle!
