M.A.R.S.
I think I have finally got my amp to sub ratio figured out. I am not looking for something that slams but has moderate volume. I am not doing compatitions just to have something nice. The pioneer GM500T pushes 400 watts @ 4 Ohms Bridge and the subs I have are the Pioneer TS-W254R does 250 RMS (1,100) @ 4 Ohms using some DJ sites I figured out that even car audio woofers are the same basic design were you need 1.5-2.0 times the rated RMS power. So if I add a second GM5500T I would be getting a true 200 watts out of each sub. Can some one please tell me if I have done my math right here??? Also I know when I do this I should have a 1/0 running from the Battery(2nd battery in the trunk will be installed as well) to the amps do I just use a gauge splitter on both posative and negative terminals and also can I just jump the remote turn on lead from one amp to another. Also 2 Amps stacked on the back of a box 1 on top of another like one above another is that a good or bad mount decision? I have space on top of the box for the second one....
