amp rack/false floor

I tried searching for floors and found nothing so i apologize if this is in the wrong section. So my 96 Ek civic coupe has nothing more than a thin piece of carpet for the flooring in the back and im about to do a flooring in there to support the subs and amp. Im more than likely going to flush the amp or just have it sit on top and hide the wires under the floor for a clean look. I'm hoping for some ideas of what others have done something basic but nice nothing to extreme but functional for a daily. What kind of wood should i use? I assume mdf but 1/2 inch or 3/4? Im shooting in the dark here as this will be my first floor and possible flush amp install so i am all ears here for any pics and/or suggestions. Thanks in advance for anyone that can give tips. im planing on doing a false floor in my tahoe under my back seats after i finish getting everything i need for my build. i was planning on using 3/4 inch mdf which i think would probably be the best. the way im doin it is just trial and error. i know it dosnt give you a perfect idea but it teaches you what you need to do if you every decide to change anything around and what you need to do different. If i were you i would just do the best i can for the first time and learn from there. i know that didnt help much but it gave u sumbody elses opinon lol im still a noob at this so im in the same boat as you lol
