iceman1575
I have a 2001 Silverado with the split bucket front seat with a center console...I'm planning on either learning how to fiberglass myself, or having someone fiberglass, my front half of the center console to fit a radio scanner, a mobile radio, and a switch box for my siren (fire department/emergency management), both the scanner and the mobile radio will be about a DIN size (the mobile will be a bit wider if memory serves right)...what would be the best way to go about doing this? I know the scanner itself had a DIN slot that it fit in, and the mobile radio should have a console bracket that is meant for a police-style console...The console is just like the one below, except with a slot for the cassette tape (Which is now being used for my current siren unit, but it is slated to be replaced with a remote mount siren) POTATO!
