splfreak Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 ok... here's the low down. I drive a 99 grand am yellow top up front, 4 ga power wire, etc. Got a lazar amp and rockford subs. I take my subs out for the winter cause i dont like to bump in the winter and put them in around spring. When i have them in, on certain random days my car wont start and i know it has something to do with my audio system. I go and start it and it wont turn over just keep cranking and cranking then my security(sp?) light comes on and just blinks. i have to wait like 20 minutes and try again and then it starts. any onr have ne idea on why this happens? i would like to get it fixed cause it always seems to not start when i have someplace to be at or am in a hurry.
