ok well oregon is the only state that has legalized it, you have to make 2 verbal requests each atleast 15 days apart(so you actually have to think twice about it), and then you have to make a written request, then your physician has to consult a second physician. then a shrink has to make sure that you are mentally competent to make a decision like this. but in the end you must take to drugs yourself. the doctor can't even be in the room when u take the meds....

Yeah, I believe thats a good way to do it, make sure the person understands what they're doing. And the doc cannot be accused by some social group of murder.
