say bro r u gonna cut a hole on the rear deck to let all that bass in?

what kind of box design r u gonna go with?

stayin tuned to this one... :)

I was thinking about it. I am just waiting on the sub because well you know Impala's have a kind fucked trunk. And with the 18" btl measureing 18.5" and trunk height being alittle 19" it will be tight. large ported box

All Right So Wendesday I went and Got MDF and The BTL arrived and yesterday I started on the box. I am just going to build a box to see if 18" will be enough. IN the future I plan to 0ne or two 18" in the rear deck. but for now it is going to be port and sub firing back 7cuft after displacement and port. tuned to 32hz. Had to build the box in 2 pieces to fit it in and got most of the first one done.

Here are some pics

What are you planning as far as bracing where the box narrows? I think that might be the only downside to the box design. if you reinforce the hell out of that joint you should be good to go.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

Once I get both boxes built I plan On glass'n all of the joints and puting a couple layers in side and out on the 30 degree angles and if I still need more I'll throw a brace back there.
