Cboeger Posted April 1, 2013 Report Share Posted April 1, 2013 I've got 2 questions, when I first installed my subs I put 1 of the 2ohm DVC speaker wires from the sub terminal to amp terminal (2 see if the subs still worked) and it wouldn't turn on ever no matter what I did until i spliced both +/- speaker wires from both subs together into the amp. Why did the subs not work until I did that? Was it because the amp realized the ohms load? Also, is it true some of the good amps have a capacitor already built into them for when bass hits?
