99blazer
My friend is wanting me to build him a box for his single cab ford ranger and hes got room in the center for one and I was thinking instead of doing something simple, I would do a 4th order box. He currently has a fli audio 10 I know its not the best but it does pretty good in that little truck in a sealed box. My question would it even be worth building a 4th order box for that sub or go just ported. another question is he wants to stay in a budget of 200 bucks and that included amps and wiring kits so theres only about 100 bucks to spend on a sub and I wanted opinions on if a SQ SDC2.0-10-D4 would do better in the 4th order box. Im open to ideas 08 Ford F150

99blazer
that's what ive heard. I just like AQ/SQ and it was an idea. but ive been kind of looking at a sa-8v.2 in a 4th order bc it would fit perfect for the room Ive got to work with 08 Ford F150
Dd9515 king
Why are you set on a 4th? Ported or 6th would work great for the SQ.
99blazer
not really going for sound quality just much spl as I can get with a cheaper sub. but I couldn't get to break on the sa 8 so im probably just going to go ported 08 Ford F150
Dd9515 king
Do a simple ported box with port up back wall.
