Janthomas Posted April 25, 2013 Report Posted April 25, 2013 Hey guys, so i have a DD 2515c subwoofer in my car at the moment, which i recently measured at TL to 143,5 db! i only have a square box right now which is placed all the way back in the trunk facing towards the cabin! But now im hungry for more, the 15" are to big to let me do a so called "trunk wall" (i can fold down my seats btw), so i was wondering to either get 2x 12" dd subs and do a trunk wall, or make some kinda pancake box which is about 15cm higher than the trunk floor and fiberglass the rest where my sparewheel is and such to get the enclosure big enough and then hopefully be able to fit 2x 15" magnet out! im also going for low bass with both of these solutions! im running a Gladen spl 1800c amp atm in 1oh, and im gonna get 1 more if i get another sub! Both of these solutions will take some work to do, so i cant try them both out! My question is which of these do you think will work the best? and why? Here are some videos to show what i mean: Solution 1: "pancake"Solution 2: guessing i dont need a video for this a trunk wall! Hoping for some help!
