andy28gs Posted April 27, 2013 Report Share Posted April 27, 2013 hello everyone. been looking at the site for awhile and its really gotten inteterested into upgrading my car audio. couple months ago, i went to a car shop with no knowledge, just some money to play with so i got an amp for old kicker cvr's that were passed down to me. I'm looking at going at the front/back stage now. I ordered Alpine SPR-60C for the components, so im trying to see some good options for 4 channel amps. This is the amp I was looking at, http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130GMD8604/Pioneer-GM-D8604.html?tp=35782. its around 100 rms x 4 @ 4, so it matches up to the Type R's, but would this be a good choice? basically, are they pieces of shit? I've seen some going around new for $100-130. a main thing i was wondering, ive seen some saying class D, some say class F/D. whats the difference and would they work with the Type R's?
