98GCLimited Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 If you cut the pieces to the size of the cut sheet then your internal volume is actually going to be ~5.44 cubic feet and 33hz tuning roughly. I usually dont use the cut sheet when I make the boxes I moreso use the calculator to determine volume and rough tuning. Are you going to add a second layer on top or are you just going single layer on the sub baffle? edit: Actually what size did you cut all the pieces? And fyi too the port pieces go on like the side panels do on the inside of the .75" thick front pieces. That is why 25.25 + .75 front piece thickness = your 26" long port.

Gimpied Posted May 7, 2013 Report Posted May 7, 2013 Just bought 2 re audio ssx 10s that im going to put in a prefab for now till I get the other 2 later this month. Replacing 2 memphis m5 12s. Anyhow, this box should be perfect for the re's correct? Re recommended 1.25 per sub at 34hz and this seems comparable. They are going in the back of a tahoe with no 3rd row so space shouldnt be a problem.
