Psykotyk Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 i've had a couple systems in my day but nothing i would consider loud enough that i had to amp the speakers (always ran off deck power) my question to you is can you run different ohm loads on each channel of a 4 channel amp or does it all have to be consistent? i have a soundstream TX440 amp, 70Rms @ 4 ohm, 110 @ 2 ohmm, thanks to anyone who replies! cheers
Guest Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 left and right channels have to match. front and rear do not. you can do 4 ohms on front left and front right, and 2 ohms on rear left and rear right. but you cannot do 4 ohms on front left and 2 ohms on front right.
