Lifted2000Ford4x4 Posted May 20, 2013 Report Share Posted May 20, 2013 What kind of settings should I have on my amp? you should really get it tuned by a shop, or a really good ear with a test tone, turning the gain up until the tone changes to a muddy unclear sound. then turn it down a bit, try to stay away from the woofer cooker, aka bass boost. and it all depends on what your RCA imput voltage is at, if using it from a deck turn bass boost and any other bull shit EQ off on the deck, and if using a LOC, well most of them just clip at any signal so turn it about half to 3/4 from max and tune the amp from there. dosen't matter what woofer you get, distortion will cook any subs after a while.
