James3017 Posted May 17, 2013 Report Share Posted May 17, 2013 here's my setup Deck: Pioneer DEH-X3500UI Front: Kenwwod kfc-p709Ps 6.5 Rear: Kenwood Excelon KFC-X1730 6.5 Amp: Kenwood KAC-8405 4-Channel Performance Series Class AB Car Amplifier RMS Power Rating:4 ohms: 60 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 90 watts x 4 chan. Bridged, 4 ohms: 180 watts x 2 chan. NO SUBS YET! here's my problem i tuned up my amp with the DD-1 free of distortion. but when i setup all my eq setting on the clarion EQ and put my volume up to 35 it clips my amp just shutdown and turn on again. even when i turned down my mids still clips my amp. i wanna know the step by step on how to tune up eq deck and amp with the DD-1 distort free thank you and MAHALO here in hawaii.
