So next week I am picking up one of the old school t2000.1s and I was reading about them and the birthsheet says they put out more power at 2 ohms. I am looking a running a single Orion hcca 12 for a while on the amp and was wondering if it would be better to run a dual 4 off of the amp at 2 ohms for more power and better efficiency. Does this seem like a logical thing to do? Or should I just go with the dual 2 and run it at 1? I have the option to pick up either one for the same price and in the same condition.

dosen't matter. the HCCA's can take more then rated. so obviously 1 ohm for more power, and 2 ohms for like you said rated power and efficiency. at 1 ohm it might be a good idea to back the gain off a bit if your feeding it too much power.
