Amp power light on but no sound from sub

I just got my Kicker Front Row installed and tunned with the DD-1. I have Rockford T1500-1bdcp and Kenwood X450-4. The Front Row has Remote In and Out. I had it just spliced into my subs remote but I was getting a "pop" when starting the vehicle so I ran 16gauge speaker wire and made the remote out to the sub and the in from the HU and my 4chan. Now, my mono powers on but no sound output. On the HU I switched from DSP bypass to thru again and I could hear my subs working along with everything else but very very lightly and switched back to DSP bypass, Nothing out of subs. My subs ground is near where I pulled the remote wire thru, If I somehow loosened the connection would this cause this outcome? I have put everything back to how it was before I had this issue and still the same thing. Its pretty late, Im just looking for some pointers or tips to troubleshoot this tomorrow.

Sounds like the gain is turned down. I could be wrong but I would check that. Even if you had a loose connection it would still play at normal levels but would cut out

I set everything with my DD-1 prior to doing this. The only screw head I touched was the remote on amp and DSP. I will double check that though when I get home

So, I undid my RCA's to all my amps and wanted to see if I was getting a signal so I used my DD-1 and didnt get any signal or anything.. so I plugged it back in and mumble a few choice words under my breathe, turned the car on after I said F-it, and hooked all the RCA's back up very strange but things worked like normal and no sub pop on turn on. I touched NOTHING but the RCA's. I double checked my fuses and ground but I did not touch any gain settings or nothin. Very very strange. I guess I just need to keep an eye on things for a few days. But now I am second guessing if I tuned everything correctly or not.

I have had that happen with an amp that I had. Unplugged the rca cable and plugged them back in and nothing. Had to turn my amp off and back on before it would work
