dangercdv Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 I am getting a used Ford Explorer soon (2008-2010 is most likely what I will get) I am trying to find a setup to use that I can still have some cargo room, but nice bass. I like loud bass, rap music most of the time. I want it to sound good but get LOUD when I want it to. The amp will be a Hifonics 2000 or 2400 rms. It depends on the setup I go with.My budget for just the subwoofers is about $500 but il go over if its REALLY worth it. My current thought was 2, 12inch Sundown Audio SA-12s in about 4 cubes tuned to 33 or 34hz. I was also thinking one nice 18 could do the trick, or possibly 4 sealed woofers. I am looking for loud bass, but still clean. Im not looking to blow away anything or enter competitions, but just nice loud bass. This will be an almost daily use. Any ideas or input?
