DetroitSPL
you can see the boxes in a couple of my video's, but its dark out. couldn't take a real pic, but these are my boxes in the back of my Malibu. Started with the slot ports shown in pic. Didn't really like it and cut in 4 4" aero ports in opposite side. (2 in each box. Slot ports face drivers door, Aero's face passenger door, subs forward.) Curious if I can seal it up and have it sound decent or do I have to start over? Boxes are about 8 cubes each, with 4 vvme 10's (jf-10) in each. Still got a hair trick video out of it, but it only sounds decent on certain songs. Very small range of frequency (about 30hz-50hz) http://www.youtube.com/detroitspl 98 Malibu 2 HDC3 12's 2 Lanzar Opti4001d's strapped @ .5ohm each Pioneer 6500 hu 220 amp Powermax alt Juicebox group 31 (and a couple napa group 31's. few more on the way)

purplesyrup
30-50hz is a good area what are you trying to achieve here? If you want to play down to 26 hz ish, you will loose even more top end hz
DetroitSPL
I think part of my problem is the trunk not being sealed up. the way I had the boxes placed during my hairtrick vid, they were staggered and the trunk was closed off a lot more. I evened them up and it seems like I'm getting cancellation or something like that. just doesn't sound right. I can see my windshield, steering wheel, everything shaking, but its not loud like before. going to seal off trunk before I screw w box any more and see if that helps. http://www.youtube.com/detroitspl 98 Malibu 2 HDC3 12's 2 Lanzar Opti4001d's strapped @ .5ohm each Pioneer 6500 hu 220 amp Powermax alt Juicebox group 31 (and a couple napa group 31's. few more on the way)

98GCLimited
Why not just build a proper wall if you are using that many subs and seal it off around the wall? You wont get very good results with boxes just sitting on the back seats.

Mikhail Felton
A wall would be best and you don't want to do sealed if trying for hair-tricks.. unless you have LOTS of subs Vehicle: 2005 Kia Sorrento Ex Head Unit: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Mids & Highs: Motorola KSN-1005s & Alpine SPR-17C Type R 6.5s Speaker Amp: Sony XM-ZR1252 Sub Amplifier: Pure Audio 3000.1 Subwoofer: Incriminator Audio Death Penalty 21"
