Static through speakers

So upgraded my fronts with focal ps650 and a JL HD900/5 the static increases with volume increase. I thought maybe my rca were touching at some point so i wrapped them with electrical tape. Made no difference. My headunit is a pioneer 5500bhs. I set the gains according to the HD900/5 manual. I noticed when i changed the input voltage on amp to high it made the static quieter. However caused the head unit to act weird so i turned it back to low. My main suspect is my cheap monoprice rca cables. The static never changes except when i increase the volume the static gets louder. The static is in all speakers connected to the amp.
