dfoland93 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 So im going to upgrade my front stage from stock and run it off my HU for a while until i can buy a 4ch. Ive been reading around a bit but im still new to mids and highs. Im looking for a clear clean affordable yet puts out some good power set up. Im thinking about buying a Sound Qubed QC-HF6.5 set, im thinking that matches what i want. But the tweeter i feel like i might want to upgrade to maybe a DD T2, SQ QP-TH25, or Crscendo FT1 anyone have any experience with any of them? I havent been able to find any cars recently or cant remember any with them so i cant compare which id prefer more. I was hoping the SMD society would help me out. I know 2/3 are super tweeters but i thought i read somewhere that the you need a crossover for the FT1 (would i still need a regular crossover)? Just trying to conserve funds so any input/constructive criticism is welcome. The spot with least resistance LOL. I would ground to a rubber dildo if it had less resistance than a run of 4/0 wiring. how many poeple work there 3 or 4 lol At crescendo HQ? probably 2-3 At the sweatshop in china? 30,000 children No Engine
Jbiddle530 Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 i recomend Vifa 1" tweeters from parts express there 4 ohm tweeters. rated at 80w rms each and you can choose from silk dome, titanium dome, or anodized aluminum dome all under 40 dollars each. and then get an in line passive high pass filter from parts express as well great affordable and sound wonderful
