Quick question on subs for midbass

Gonna be using 2 RF P3 Shallow mount in the kicks for my midbass. Should i run them at 2 ohm or 4 ohm? I havent ordered them yet so i could run either, and i have yet to pick out an amp but i didnt know if there was an advantage to either other than more power at 2 ohms obviously.

Im guessing its just personal preference, but just wanted to see what you all think.

Depends on your amp. They are rated for 150 watts, so keep that in mind.

Yeah sorry i thought i posted, but yes the 8's. Havent picked out an amp yet, so guess i should pick out the amp first?

Yeah, that will let you decide coil config. Find something that does 150X2 stereo @2ohms and get the d4, or get something that does 150x2 stereo@ 4ohms and get the d2.

Those need .25cuft of airspace sealed, but i think they might perform ok in less space if you are using them for midbass.

Alright sounds good. I think with as much room as im gonna have in the kicks when i glass them, they should have enough air space. Hopefully will fill in the void between my subs and components nicely.

What do yall think about the RF T400-2 to push these? 200 watts at 2 ohms, as long as i set it with the DD-1 surely they can take 50 watts more than rms.
