Joshua Dumas Posted July 24, 2013 Report Share Posted July 24, 2013 Current setup: all stock eletrical Kenwood kdc x996 Headunit stock tweeters and 6 1/2's in the front Jbl gto- 938's in the rear deck 2 12 inch Rockford Fosgate P2D2's Kenwood kac 9105d (Soundqubed q1-1200d amplifier coming in tommorow!) Custom made box tuned to approx 32 hz at i think 3.56 cubes. made from 3/4" mdf. I have a run of 4 gauge going from the battery to the amp with a 40 amp fuse. and another run of 4 gauge back up to the battery for the ground. The amp has never blown the fuse so that tells me its never made its claimed 900 watts. And the amp cuts out all the time so i decided to upgrade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTn-hFTkbxw&feature=youtu.be The setup as it is is pretty loud although i feel it could be louder(hense the new amp) Will i be running into problems with the Q1 as far as my eletrical goes? I plan on keeping the 40 amp fuse for now. although i think im going to go to either a 60 or 80. I also plan to buy a 0 gauge big 3 kit when i save up enough for it.
