Hmmm, i beg to differ. Resin by itself does nothing for strength. It's a thin brittle film. And why resin the box?? It doesn't do anything unless you're matting it too. Strength and to seal any openings. I can see it sealing off any pourus areas or openings... I didnt think of that approach .

Cox Posted August 20, 2013 Author Report Posted August 20, 2013 Lame update... Been a little bit of change in paint. The first try didnt come out so great so I sanded it down, re-did the putty (twice) and will be doing the finishing sanding tomorrow and then priming, and hopefully painting wednesday. I'm rolling it on this time. Then once that cures I'm going to re-spray the port black. I pulled the tape I had on it because I thought it wouldn't turn out well, but I'm gonna re tape it back up and hopefully finish it this Friday.
