Opinions needed.

Not sure if this is the proper forum for this, if not please point me in the right direction.

I recently purchased a 1999 4 door tahoe and am planning the new system for it. I have some equipment already but would welcome advice and opinions from people that know better than me.

Here's what is am planning:

Head unit: open to suggestions

Front stage: I have a brand new set of JL C3 5x7 components and a set of of older dynaudio components from a previous build.

Front stage amp: nothing purchased yet

Sub: I was given a RE XXX 18 (dual 2 ohm) that is about two years years old. It has broken tinsel leads and I have sent an email to RE as well as PSI to see who can fix/recone it

Sub amp: I was thinking a RF T2500-1bdcp but this is where I start to get lost with the amount of amps on the market. Suggestions please.

Sub enclosure: obviously a key component but my lack of woodworking ability will most likely lead me to have a box built by someone with the proper capabilities. Advice on size/ tuning frequency would help. This will be a second/weekend vehicle and just want something that I can play a variety of music and get loud.

Electrical: based on my research it looks like a 270 amp alternator and (2) 1/0 for power. Not sure about the size or quantity of batteries.

Not my first install but definitely more complicated than I'm used to. Any advice or opinions is welcome as I'd like to do this once correctly.
