Eric Robinson Posted August 18, 2013 Report Share Posted August 18, 2013 I have been having issues with designing a box to hold 4 SA-8 V.2 D2 subs. The original design was either so bad that no one wanted to comment on it in fear of embarresing me and spotlighting my incompitance, or no Box builders are online. After sever attempts and changes to the box I have tossed out the design. since then i have came up with another one that uses a single 4" x 6" flared aeroport on the recomendation of my brother. would it be better to use a larger aeroport for 4 8" subs, or split the box and run 2 4" x 6" aeroports. Is sub placement in an aeroport box important?. is it best for me to move the subs as far as possable from the port? What would be the best setup sub on bottom or top, or stagered subs with port on top or bottom. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
