Ryanrj828 Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Hello all, I'm walling off 4 xfl 15's in my 2006 fusion, and due to the tight area i have to work with I have to build the box inside the car and utilize all the corners and weird angles I can to squeeze out all the necessary cubes. Now after it's all said and done after all displacements i should be between 15-16.5 cubic feet ( to many weird angles to calculate exactly). Now I plan to use 3 8" aeroports tuned to around 32hz. So my concern is if it's 15 cubes that will put me at 10.05 inches of port area per cube which I know will be right in the safe zone to avoid port noise. But if it does end up closer to 16.5 cubes then ill be at 9.14" inches of port area per cube. Is this to small? This will all be ran off a skar 4500.1 at 1 ohm, and the 3 aeroports will be lined up vertically behind the driver seat. Any helps appreciated thanks guys!
