girlcrazy_4 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Share Posted August 24, 2013 This is my first build so just sharing. 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi, I did the big 3 upgrade with 1/0 wiring, 1/0 wiring and grounds to all 3 of the amps, Pioneer h/u, Focal 6 1/2 components front and at the moment Polk Audio coaxials in the rear. The Mid amp is a MTX 600.4, and the sub amps are both DC 2k. The sub is a DC 12" LVL3 with LVL4 upgrade hooked up with 8 guage wire. After purchasing the sub I realized it is not as loud as i'd like so I'm either going to buy another sub of the same model or I will be contemplating a 15 or 18" woofer. Chances are I'll be switching to DD if I do, but in the meantime DC is just fine. I'll be hooking the amps together for a total of 4000watts, but unsure if i'll bedoing that at this time since the sub will definitely blow. The box at 4.5 cuft tuned to 32hz... sub didnt like it so its coming out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
