rolltide0323 Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 I just ordered 2 Sundown SD-10's to put into my regular cab Silverado. Right now I have a 10" Kicker comp and I built the box it currently sits in. Of course the box is angled firing foward with a slot port firing from the top of the box. I calculated the port length correctly(I think) but was wondering if a top firing port is the best placement in a regular cab. Would it be better to have the ports firing out of the side of the box? This was my first attempt at building a ported speaker box and this time I would like to be confident in what i'm building and not waste my time. Thanks for any input.
