That is the truck Im using. but I will be competing in adv. no wall class. I have a midwest spl show this weekend I will be shooting for 150db. This will be the first show I have competed in 10yrs. Since my old usaci days. 2001,2002,2003 USACI World Finalist. 3rd. place ss 301-600 2003 USACI World Record Holder SS 301-600 Out for 10yrs. Finally getting back in the game. 2-ddm2b's on 2 HDC3 12's. 147.8db for now on TL. 250amp alt. 4 deep cycle batts. 2 runs of 1 gauge. 98' dodge ram. Soon to be advance no wall class. Or ss class. fecupe2001 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 1)i would try to turn the box around and place that port on the driver´s side. 2) That port looks WAY to small for those subs 3) if you want to compete, i would build another box just for comps , or maybe, build a box with removable port so you can change tuning and port area to raise a few tenths. 4) Not the best score ever, but could be worse, what frequency you peaked? even with low power, those subs are very efficient, on 1000 watts you should definitely be louder. The way i have the box on my power and power from a friends truck(10000 wattrms) on tl i have less then a db difference from 20 to 60 hz. With how i have the inside to the port ratio. Then all the other things that went into making this box. Peak was 43. I got around 4500 out of my friends truck clamped. To from 500 per sub to around 2200 per sub.
