Okay but I'm not doing a 6. I've decided on the dual 4. I don't have the space to properly run 6. it would literally be resting against my backseat. That was what I originally wanted and designed on Torres. so I'd rather run dual 4 with proper space then a single 6 with the port blocked.

Only one thing looks better than an 6" port. And that is my 8" port...lol

what are your the specs of your box and port. after A LOT of tweaking I managed to be able to do an 8" port. what's your port per foot? And what subs are you running? Obviously they're audioque but which ones?

I pretty much ripped my trunk apart. Made some card board boxes n cleared/relocated everything. Now I can do a dual 6" or single 8. So which has more port area? Or are they about the same?

Subs are in my sig. HDC3's. box is 37" w x 17.5" h x 19" d. Outside dimensions. subs are strapped on two ddm2b's. Box is tuned to 36hz. Just metered on a termlab and hit a 147.8 at 43hz. which was my loudest hz. It's tuned low. Im going to cut the port down alittle to raise the freq. will be tuning the box to 46hz. where she should peak at 53 to 54hz. which should push me to 150db. hopefully. Then everything is coming out after a midwest spl show this upcoming weekend. And I will be working on a over the winter build. I moved everything behind the b-pillar and the box is below the rear window line.

I believe the dual 6" will give you more port area.
