( + or - ) ?? if the car doesn't stall, you have enough voltage. NCRdesigns Posted December 17, 2013 Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 The factory horn wire is black (-) under the steering column but your best bet is to wire the relay as follows: Pin 86 connect to factory horn (+) wire Pin 85 connect to factory horn (-) wire Pin 87 connect to compressor positive Pin 30 connect to battery (+) Just ground compressor and you'll be good to go pin 85 and 86 can be switched so you won't have to get horn polarity wires determined and doing it this way keeps you from having to run long lengths of wire or go digging under your steering column Also if you disconnect your factory horn push the button and hear a clicking there is already a horn relay as most gm cars have which you could then just hook those two wires on factory horn directly to compressor with no extra relay needed "Custom isn't bought its created" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
