Speakers cutting out?

Both are 4 ohms and yet with just those sets hooked up it cuts out at any high volume ie. Above halfway.

I would say that somewhere something is grounding out. That doesn't sound like an ohm load issue to me, however your ohm load is an issue. I would only run the 4 speakers off the deck because of power issues anyway.

Yep, the clearance is to small and speaker vibrates and grounds out. I had that happen after I deadend my rear deck. All I did was place the speaker to where it couldn't vibrate and touch the deadener.

Yep, I know how that is.. Most of my friend aren't as installation inclined as myself, I won't let any of them touch my systems..
