inferno1985 Posted September 17, 2013 Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 ever worry about particle in your engine? metal shards . i bought a earth magnet few months ago and i stuck it to the bottom of my oil filter along with a magnetic drain plug. you wouldnt believe the shards of metal that were stuck to the drain plug , they float around in your engine from wear and tear. if you know earth magnets you know their magnetic pull is extremely strong. would love to see the shards that accumulate in my filter but i cant. If this concerns you that much set your self up w one of amsoils filtration systems . They boast never having to change oil again . Only topping off the filters you change and when you remove them they get mailed to amsoil and the do a lab test and send you back a comprehensive report of the contents . If you purchase theses systems and have them dealer installed amsoil will stand behind you engine for the life of the vehicle and pay for any failures due to internal overloading.
