DylanBunch
Anybody else experience? My x 18 had great output and sounded great but it didnt move a lot at all really. Not near as much as I see in peoples videos, could port area play a factor? I know my box wasnt too small @ 6.3cbft Quote 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
mrd6
Thats to be expected unless you are giving it a crazy amount of power. Most of those people are playing below tuning. Don't worry so much about how much your subs move...doesnt usually correlate all that much to output anyways... How much port area? DylanBunch
I don't have the sub anymore but I always wondered why other people move more, and I played below tuning quite often lol I was tuned to 35 and playing song down to 23hz it moved no more that other subs I've had. The box had 100" of port and I shrunk it down to like 85-90 the day before I sold it. Honeslty it became noticeable louder, lower and moved a tad more but still nothing crazy Quote 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
STEALTH808
moar power! subs moving in excess usually is a sign of playing out of tuning like said above.. DylanBunch
Powered by a dc 3.5k @ 2 ohms, only got rid of it cause I don't have the airspace for 2 in a 4th order behind the c pillar. It sounded great Quote 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
