I haven't even hooked up my 1 XL 15 yet but I can tell you it seems LEGIT! I can tell it's going to take forever to break in, which in my head tells me it's a good strong subwoofer! you really get what you pay for with DC! you can see in my profile pic, that's my XL 15. Also, the guys at DC are so cool, Travis Hays (I think is his name) was my sales person that I got a hold of on their e-mail. He was great, he helped a noob like me learn some stuff, I also talked to Rusty, another great guy, spoke on the phone with him, he was awesome and great help for me! So YES, go with the XL, I promise even at first glance you won't be disappointed, and I'm almost sure it will get better when it's actually hooked up :D
